amazing food and good music. service is great. it was a great last night for our florida trip. highlight was the oysters Rockefeller and the apple pie! the mussels were amazing as well. i got the grouper sandwhich which was fine, not bad, but a little plain. the jambalaya was great!

Food was very good I had the naked grouper special, atmosphere is very homey and like an actual camp with wood walls and nice decor. Beer was incredible I’d definitely recommend the brown chicken brown cow brown ale beer it was delicious! Portions are good size too. Service was very attentive and friendly. They don’t do reservations so come early because it gets crowded especially for larger parties

When visiting anywhere near Sarasota we Always make our last night Owens fish camp ! This past week stayed in AMI and although lovely best meal of the week was easily Owen’s ! Best shrimp and grits ever! Crab dip amazing ! Charbroiled oysters to die for , the entire vibe is perfection. Only negative I would mention is music was incredibly loud in restaurant had to shout to one another. Desserts pecan pie absolutely rivaled my moms

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We celebrated my husband’s birthday at Owens Fish Camp, and it was one of the highlights of our trip! We got the recommendation from Patrick, our guide on a kayaking adventure, and it was absolutely worth it. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The atmosphere is charming, relaxed, and full of character. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious, and every dish we ordered was prepared perfectly. The smoked fish dip and entrées were amazing, and the portions were generous. To top off the evening, we shared the apple pie à la mode with vanilla ice cream for dessert, and it was simply to die for! It was the perfect ending to a wonderful birthday celebration. A big thank you to Patrick for the recommendation and to the entire team at Owens Fish Camp for making the night so special. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended if you’re looking for great seafood, excellent service, and a memorable dining experience. 🎉🎂🐟🍎🍨

This darling place is hidden. I’m glad our friends knew about it. Inside and out the feel is unique and laid back. We enjoyed our appetizers except for the portion of clam chowder. Serve it in a smaller bowl so customers don’t feel they were underserved. The grouper was tasty and the okra was nice as well. The music’s was far too loud. We all had to raise our voices - I felt like we were yelling - to hear over the music. It’s worth a visit to decide for yourself. Our particular server was inattentive.
